Date: 13 Sep 2009, 19:11 GMT | Finally, a cellular handset that's made for the 21st century! I was beginning to think that no handset vendor knew what the word "integration" really meant. Were all those hours I spent in standards committees for nothing? Well, of all the manufacturers, my answer came from HTC. This is a brilliant piece of machinery that surpasses all others. Designed with 3.5G in mind, this little beauty tops the charts. You can run a sophisticated business on it and port yourself to whereever you want to be with your workload right in the palm of your hand. It's highly intuitive and thus far, the only one of its class.
I spent 20 years engineering next generation technology for commercial businesses and for the NASA in the design of the space station C&TS, NASCOM II, and advanced TDRSS... this is the first I've seen "advanced technology" applied to a cell phone that makes it work! |

With my MS Windows background I can configure this device to do what I want it to do. For business there is nothing like it.
I've used the iPhone, PalmPre and others which certainly have their appeal. The iPhone for Multimedia and the Pre for web browsing (I guess) will certainly keep their respective followers happy. Both are powerful devices to be sure but the iPhone, as an example, simply doesn't have the seamless connectivity with my desktop environment that I NEED. I've yet to get to know the Pre well enough to know how it will fair in this area but so far none of those who own it seem to be REALLY using it other than as a phone (and they are ALL true GEEKS).
Kaiser ROX !!! |
