Handango gives the best range of applications and tools for this device under HTC Advantage aka x7501- but beware of Handango's support which is pretty irish-bullish, unreliable, crap!!!!! I was able to convert to HTC application OS - AP dual technology - from standard T-mobile (UK) specific, this now is opened to any network and all from the web for free! In short there is no other handset that I know of --- and believe you me I have tried and evaluated all of them -- like this handset. Yes for some dinky people that likes dinky mobiles for compromised texting, viewing, limited in all ways for pure portability then this is not for you.
But if you are big in mind, with professional commitment, like in IT specialism then you will love this device, becos of ability to remote connect, manage servers etc. I don't even want to upgrade to the next generation x7510 because it has always reliable worked and invested so much time in customisation!
The only snag is I hated the way the metal frames of the keybord runs against the screen and marks it over time and makes it looks not so beautiful as early days ;) but functionally just like marriage to your one and only, it works perfectly and so beautiful still inside :)))
I don't think I will cease using this handset! By the way not had a reason to reclaim from my insurance for almost 3 years as it is has not died :( what a solid product, a head-turner everytime, it is my tradmark that I am identified by. I love it so much. Thank you very much to HTC! |
