Date: 10 Aug 2011, 13:39 GMT | I just recently got a Handspring Visor Platinum. I love this device. Now that we are now in the year 2011, this PDA is incredibly cheap and is definitely worth getting even if it is considered outdated. I like this PDA more than Palm's PDAs because the Handspring Visor Platinum (and all other Handspring PDAs) have the Springboard Module slot. All you have to do is plug in a module and you can use it. Of course, It is a Palm OS Device, so there are thousands of apps available for this PDA. I used to have a Handspring Visor Deluxe, witch was a good PDA, but the Visor Platinum blows it away. The Visor Platinum has 8MB of RAM (same as the Visor Deluxe) Palm OS version 3.5 (I believe the Visor Deluxe had version 3.1) and has a 33MHz processor ( the Visor Deluxe had a 16 MHz processor). All of the included applications work just fine. I have had no problems with this PDA. |
