Date: 08 Nov 2010, 20:07 GMT | I've had my SJ33 since 2004, yup.. the driver doesn't work with Win 7/64, I have to keep an old PC alive just to keep my contacts. The desktop odes install if you go right into the PC folder of the disk and install it from there. I put the driver in windows/system/drivers to no avail. I suspect that the rechargeable batter will be out of stock soon too... Sony products last 5 years and it's a crap shoot.

Date: 27 Jul 2010, 21:37 GMT | I love my SJ-33 as well and am trying to get it running on Win7 Ultimate as well.
If you install Windows XP Virtual Machine (download from MS support site after installing Win7 Ultimate) you can install the Clie software on the virtual machine as usual. However, I cannot get it to recognize the device via the USB port yet; Hotsync won't work and Windows 7 indicates an incompatible USB device (WinXP Virtual doesn't see it at all).
So I'm still working on finding a solution to recognize the hardware on the USB port, but the software is running on the virtual machine.
Good luck with your installs as well. |

Date: 16 Mar 2010, 22:43 GMT | just love the SJ33, have for years. Wish I could find a way to hot-sink with windows 7 64 bit laptop though. Can not load CD sink soft ware to PC laptop. Any tips on how? Has served me well for years. |
