This is a simple yet powerful program designed to help you meet your budgeting goals. First create budget categories specifying a description and budget amount for each category. Create as many budget categories as required. Optionally, you may enter your income which is used as a reference point as you create your budget and enter spending. For each budget category, enter spending which reduces the amount left in the category. A detailed note can be entered for each amount spent. For each category, the program will keep a running total of the amount spent to date, and the amount remaining. As an added bonus, the program will also allow you to record and report any tax deductible expenses and charitable contributions you make. The built-in deduction reports will make it easy to know how much of a deduction you can take come tax time and give you the backup paperwork to keep on file.
The program also has a summary screen of the complete budget plan, listing each category, the amount spent and remaining in each. At the bottom of this screen is shown the total budget amount, total amount spent to date, and total amount remaining in the budget. The amount budgeted to each category can be changed at any time which will be immediately reflected on the budget summary screen. When it is time to begin a new budget period, all budgets can be reset to their initial amounts.
A bill reminder lets you know in advance when a bill is coming due (you determine how may days). The "Pay Bills" screen allows the user to pay bills that have been defined as part of the budget plan. Using the charting features, see where your money is going visually. Also includes several reports to keep a record of each spending period. The reports include all details including the category, amount spent, date spent, reference number, and notes. The reports also provide the ability to export the spending details to a comma-seperated (.CSV) file or HTML web-browser based file which can then be used in many Windows programs including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Excel. User selectable colors on supported devices.
