King James bible in text form, you can open them up in any text editor and edit them, cut and paste your choice of books from the bible and create your own book files in any ebook format you like to choose and compress them in any format to conserve extra space ie tomeraider/gutenpalm are the best and will get you better compression than the DOC file.

The new testament and old testament are compressed as an example in Doc format which almost every ebook reader can read it.
