ExpenseCat is similar to the well known built-in Expense (Kosten, Dépenses, Gastos in other languages).
Like the original, Expense Cat is unbeaten in comfort and fastness when entering an expense or income, but has removed the restrictions of the built-in Expense and introduces new powerful features.
ExpenseCat comes with a very comfortable Viewer and Exporter to MS-Word or MS-Excel.
With Expense Cat you can track each expense or income in up to four different categories.
Comfortable:
For most of your expense or income you will just start Expense Cat, write the amount and the first one or two letters of the Expense Type and you can close your handheld already.
Expense Cat has stored for you the actual date, the default currency and has assigned the expense or income to the predefined categories of this Expense Type.
Powerful:
Changes in the main screen:
In the main screen the date, type, amount and currency can be changed directly.
Details-Dialog:
Aditionally in the Details-Dialog the up to four categories and their checked-status can be seen and changed.
Tracking the expense or income:
If you select a category all records which are assigned to this category will be shown. By hooking, records can be marked as checked. Expense Cat stores automatically the date of checking.
In the "Example-Records" you can f.i. select the category "Company Expense " when writing the expense list for your company. The other day, when you receive your AMEX-Statement, you can easily compare the expenses with selecting the category "AMEX Statement".
Display only the unchecked records:
"Checked" expense or income can be hidden automatically, you see only the unchecked ones.
Sorting:
Expense Cat lets you sort the expense by date, type, and amount by tapping on the head of the list. Expense Cat has also a second sort order, which is the previous selected sort order and displayed by a dotted arrow.
VIEWER:
Powerful Viewer and Exporter to MS-Word and MS-Excel.
Save:
On every HotSync Expense Cat backups your data and in case of an empty battery or a new handheld, the data is fully restored.
