PaleoHack is a port of the Rogue-like game Hack, the ancestor of NetHack, for PalmOS.
Hack is a "rogue-like" game. These games are text-based and have a familiar premise: wander around in a dungeon, collect treasure, deal with bad-tempered monsters, try to finish a quest.
What's New in This Release: [ read full changelog ]
· Added "are you sure" before quitting.
· 'count' (write a number) should work with hardware button commands too
· exiting the app, before creating any character, is no longer broken
· "you are already wearing" message displayed in inventory (when appropriate)
· amnesia works better
· added delay and animation for actions that make you wait several turns (might be spoily to be more specific I suppose)
· dipping works (to the limited extent that it was implemented in hack)
· teleport control UI is somewhat less sucky now
· most but not all teleporting situations work ok now (again maybe spoily)
