Ever wonder what the shortest distance between apple and zephyr is? With the new Wikipathia application, you get the chance to find out while proving your skills at navigating the wealth of information on everybody’s favorite reference site – Wikipedia.
The game is simple – first, you are presented with two randomly selected article titles (you can easily change them if they seem too easy or difficult) – once you select your two articles, you are presented with a list of the outgoing links from the first article’s page. Each link opens up a new article and a new list of outgoing links. The goal: to get from the first article to the last using the fewest intermediary links possible. And do not worry, if you make a mistake, you can always back up to any point in your search. The game is simple, but only the wise can rise to the level of a Wikimaster! Prove your prowess and have a blast in the process.
