a/A-ratio 1.1

This application calculates the arterial alveolar oxygen tension ratio (a/A PO2).

The a/A PO2 reflects gas exchange function of the lungs over the range of FiO2 used in neonatal intensive care.

This application is particularly useful when assessing the development of respiratory distress syndrome, RDS, in preterm infants.
