SEVEN Always-On Mail Professional Edition is a smaller scale and lower cost alternative to Always-On Mail Enterprise Edition. It also synchronizes mail, contacts and calendar. It does however require more day to day maintenance than Enterprise Edition, is less scalable and has less user maintenance and configuration features than its Enterprise alternative. It is however ideal for use in environments of less than five active users and is a great proof of concept for individuals who are interested in trialling Always-On Mail in preparation for an Enterprise Edition rollout.

SEVEN Always-On Mail uses advanced AES security, both on the mobile device and behind the company firewall. This means that any information that is transferred between the device and the mail server is end-to-end encrypted. The encryption key is provided during installation and is stored only on the mobile device and behind the company firewall. Thus allowing the user to feel secure that all of their sensitive corporate information is 100% safe.
