iSMSserver makes it possible to retrieve information from your device, or add information to your device by sending a properly formatted SMS to it. For example you want to send your friends or some one else your contacts, tasks, appointments via SMS, or maybe you forgot your phone at home and want to know a phone number from your contacts.
Commands are:
- Get phone number by name
- Get name by phone number
- Add contact to phone
- Add task to phone
- Add appointment
- Beep
- Hard Reset
- Resend
A properly formatted SMS looks like this:
pass,addcontact,Saijo George,+12345678
This will add the contact Saijo George with phone number +12345678 to your device. Pass is the password for the software, so that it is not abused by people who are unauthorized.
