AstroWin CE is the Pocket PC edition of the professionell astrology software AstroWin for Windows. The application refers to all astrologic interested Pocket PC users and astrological professionals. This worldwide unique software enables to draw birth horoscopes (RADIX) as well as Solar or a partner horoscope - the so called composite. Even it seems to be unbelievable on such a small display, AstroWin even shows any RADIX-combination as SYNASTRY.
For all those in charge of hour astrology, two pen movements bring a transit display on the display.
AstroWin is available in three versions: Quick Edition, Standard Edition, and Expert Edition.
AstroWin CE Quick Edition:
This version is the basis for the two others. It calculates and shows the graphic radix display.

Furthermore two radix horoscopes can be displayed at once. In this so called synastry are two different horoscopes shown in the inner as well as in the outer circle. The aspect lines refere in this case to the plantes on the outer circle and those of the inner circle, so called intra aspects. With two moves of the pen currents transits in relation to the birth horoscope will be displayed.
The following choices are avilable for evaluation:
The table of houses (name, degrees by second, zodiac)
The table of elements (fire, earth, air and water including relevance of the single planets)
The table of qualities (cardinal, fixed, mutable including relevance of the single planets)
The table of aspects (name of the aspect, bothered planet, difference to the real aspect and information, whether it is an application aspect, which means he is of increasing accuracy).
The aspect graphic. The radix display will be shown as step graphic. When displaying a synstry or a transit, it shows the intra-aspects, the aspects between the inner and outer horoscope.
To enter a horoscope, the integrated location database is important. The German version of the Quick edition includes cities and locations from USA, UK, Canada, Australia and South Africa. Apart from the real geographic coordinates this database realizes summertime (daylight saving time) adaptions as well. This means, the database knows on which day and at what time summer- and wintertime changes. The user does not have to bother about it - even not when using confusing data during World War II.
Besides this astrologic techniques AstroWin delivers additional functions being perfectly set for the small Pocket PC display. Using the pen you can easily show or hide houses and aspects, to concentrate on the basics.
All astrologic factos like houses, plantes and aspects will be calculated on basis of complicated mathematic itterations.
AstroWin CE Standard Edition:
The standard edition of AstroWin is ment to be for the ambitionated astrologer, who already has a clear viewing of the used paramteres. Regarding techniques the standard edition uses all processes already included to the Quick Edition. Furthermore a Windows-Software with three basic functions is included to the standard edition:

With this function you can administer all country- and location-data of more than 120.000 geographic positions worldwide included to this version. As there is no need to have all data on your Pocket PC at any time, there is as well no need to waiste storage on your mobile device. You can easily transfer single countries to your Pocket PC and delete as simple. And of course you can as well carry the whole world in your pocket.
Horoscope Administration
Especially for consulting astrologer it makes sense to have a couple of horsocopes on the Pocket PC at the same time, no matter whether it's for science reasons or for upcoming consultations. Alhtough entering data is very comfortable, the administration of the data is much more convenient when using the PC keyboard.

The most evident extension compared to the Quick Version is the chance to customize many astrologic parmaters. This includes:

While all calculations in the standard as well as in the quick version are done on basis of mathemaic formulas, the expert edition bases on NASA ephemerides. Those reach from 1800 to 2399 and guarantee the absolut exact calculations of all planets on the second.

This application contains (even in the shareware version) a database with 125,000 geographic information worldwide.
