The call-through method (also known as the calling card method) allows significant cost reduction of international and local calls. In order to make a phone call using this method a couple of steps need to be taken. First thing to do is to dial the operator's access number. Afterwards PIN number, and usually also password have to be input, using phones keypad. The last step is to manually enter the phone number of the person we wish to connect to. In order to make this process easier Fancyfon dial-up software was created. Using this application the only thing to do is to choose the phone number to dial in the usual way (using contact book, recent calls etc.) . The other steps are performed automatically, so the user does not have to worry about entering PINs, passwords etc. In order to make connections as cheap as possible internet connection and VoIP technology are used. From the user's perspective phone's usage remains natural, the only difference being your phone bill.
