iKooza is a mobile VoIP app for the world's immigrant community and international travellers. It offers extremely cheap international call rates with savings of up to 95% compared to landline costs for the same call and up to 70% savings on international SMS rates. Users get unlimited free SMS to other iKooza users as well as IM chat functionality.
The app works by automatically connecting your cell phone directly to an in-house international calling platform, which delivers your call directly to the destination telephone network, bypassing any third parties thus saving you money and offering a great user experience. The app uses your phone's existing 3G or GPRS connection or WiFi if you are at home or in your office or at a WiFi hotspot.
Unlike various international call services or calling cards, iKooza does not require you to dial an access number, purchase or configure a dedicated virtual number or use PIN numbers to make a call. Just pick up your cell phone and dial, simple as that!
