CoasterTrip is the perfect application to bring on your road trips. If you're feeling like a good thrill use the map to zoom in on your region of North America and find the closest amusement parks. CoasterTrip displays the address, phone number, web site and list of roller coasters for 152 different parks. Select one of 552 coasters from the list and you will be given the coaster type, designer, opening year, speed, height, length and number of inversions.
In the registered version you can add information from your personal experiences. For each park you can specify the date you visited, a rating from 1 to 5 and any other notes you please. For each coaster you can keep track of how many times you have been on it, specify a rating from 1 to 5, and write any other personal comments. With CoasterTrip you can save all of this information immediately before you get home. Why not just bring your Palm into the park?
The registered version has a new feature to list parks and coasters of each category such as Inverted Coasters, Suspended Coasters and Steel Hypercoasters. These lists are sorted by your personal rating so it's easy to find your top ten in each category. Also the registered version has a Personal Stats feature showing the total steel/wood coasters ridden, the total number of rides on these coasters and the number of parks visited.
