TabiCam

TabiCam is a video surveillance client as well as a mobile TV viewer (requires a compatible TV card on a PC) for Palm OS devices. TabiCam pairs with TabiCamPC which is used to stream content from your personal computer.

You can choose streaming quality you desire and configure various player options from a single user interface.

Multiple channel lineups

TabiCam provides multiple channel lineups for media recorded locally on the handheld or streamed remotely from a host PC. Each lineup comes with builtin search functionality.

Background monitoring

TabiCam can run in the background. If the server detects camera motion, TabiCam gets activated and alerts you with sound and vibration effects.

TabiCamPC

TabiCamPC is a video surveillance and media server that can stream content to your handheld from multiple cameras, TV cards or any other Directshow compatible device attached to your computer. Streamed content can be viewed on your handheld using TabiCam (available separately).

Powerful encoder/decoder engine

TabiCamPC is based on proven open source multimedia project known as FFmpeg. This equips TabiCamPC with support for high quality streaming at very low bitrates. The Mp3 encoding support is powered by Lame Mp3 module.

You can choose to stream webcam, TV (*requires a compatible TV card on your PC) or content from any other Directshow compatible device attached to your computer.

Setup your recordings

TabiCamPC enables recording of real-time content such as TV (*requires a compatible TV card) or webcam on your PC. You can start the recording either from your PC or from your handheld anytime.

Requirements:

· TabiCam: all Treo smartphones (except Treo 600), Palm Centro, Tungsten T5, Tungsten E2, Zire 72, Palm TX and LifeDrive
· TabiCamPC: Windows 2000/XP/Vista

Limitations:

· The demo version will expire within 15 days after it is first run.
· Recording to file and playing from file features are disabled in demo version.
· Channel list is limited to one item only.
